   1974年9月至1977年7月：兰州医学院医学系学习。

   1977年8月至1980年8月：兰州医学院寄生虫学教研室教师。

   1980年9月至1983年6月：山西医科大学硕士研究生。

   1983年7月至1990年8月：兰州医学院讲师，研究生科科长。

   1990年9月至1991年9月：英国利物浦热带医学院访问学者。

   1991年10月至1995年8月：兰州医学院副教授，寄生虫学教研室主任。

   1995年9月至1998年6月：日本山形大学博士研究生。

   1998年7月至1999年10月：兰州医学院副教授，基础医学部副主任，基础医学部形态学实验室主任。

   1999年11月至2004年10月：兰州医学院教授，副院长，甘肃省新药临床前研究重点实验室主任。

   2004年11月至2008年2月：兰州大学基础医学院病原生物学研究所教授、所长，兰州大学副校长兼基础医学院院长，甘肃省新药临床前研究重点实验室主任。

   2008年3月至今：　兰州大学基础医学院病原生物学研究所教授、所长，兰州大学副校长。
